The KMGNE carries out around ten projects every year. A few of the topics are:

• Implementation of a leadership training course on education for sustainable development for participants from Mexico, India, South Africa and Germany.
• The communications procedure for scientists and policymakers on strategies for sustainable land-use in coastal regions.
• The production of a video on issues of climate change with school pupils
• Accompaniment of the construction of a network for educational consultation in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald (state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern).

As diverse as these projects may be they have one thing in common: they are about communications, education and sustainability.
